Jimmy Carl Black has lost his fight with cancer. He passed away the day after Halloween. Long Live The Indian of the Group! Play some Mothers of Invention today in his honor.

I had the honor of sharing the stage with the man at the 2002 Zappanale. He loved life to the fullest. Such a joy to back him up as he sang "Lonesome Cowboy Burt" in the very same vest he wore in 200 Motels!
